  Ate here for a birthday and it was a decent experience. The staff was a bit quiet, some spoke no English, others just chose to pretend not to hear you.
  
  Some food was incorrectly cooked or prepared and when asked about where produce and the like came from no one seemed to know. They pass off much imitation and fake meats as the real deal so buyer beware.
  
  My experience is dated, as I have not eaten there since but would if given a free meal to compare now and then.
  
  Just too expensive for what I ate and how it looked, the mouth feel, the smells.
  
  The rooms feel gaudy but I'm sure they were going for regal.
  
  I hate to put down local places but for as long as this has been surviving I am sad to see so many other Japanese, and Korean restaurants go as a result.
  
  They make money somehow, so I guess if you have a party to plan, maybe go there - we did - but you just don't want to expect any kind of authenticity.
  
  Very American asian. It's like a multi ethnic cuisine Chinese restaurant that decided to sit itself in a hollowed out ballroom of sorts. I don't know the insides just felt off and the food didn't compare to the image they try to show off.

  My husband & I invited 10 family members to help celebrate my 81st birthday this past Sunday evening, and it was just perfect! Everyone was able to order exactly what each one wanted, and the food was delicious! So often, at other restaurants, the service leaves a bit to be desired, but Paul, the server, was efficient, friendly and professional in every way. What a great way to celebrate! This will definitely not be the last visit to Lai Lai Garden for us.
